Camp Volunteer Info & More

I'm happy to report another level of opening for summer camp. With governor Abbott's latest phase of openings, we will open the camp to junior counselors. These young people must be 12-15 yrs old and understand they will be volunteers. We have created a new sign up to organize this opportunity, THANK you Emily for your amazing skills! Each day we will invite 5 Junior Counselors to sign up for a day of volunteer camp help. I'm asking that we start with choosing 2 days per week for each volunteer. We will increase that if we're able to. This sign...

Moving Forward - Camp, Shows & more

Happy Sunday! With all the events of the past 2 months our barn closing dates need to be revisited. The original schedule was to have the barn closed over memorial day weekend. We are going to change that because our lesson/barn time sign ups continue until the 28th of May. Therefore we will close for 3 days to prepare for the start of camp. May 29th, 30th and 31st will be a scheduled break. There will be no lessons that weekend. I will update everyone as to how owners/leasees may access the barn during this weekend. Our guidelines continue to change and hopefully by then we may...

Evening Lesson Updates & more

Wow, what a rain that brings me indoors for some quick updates! All lessons that are scheduled for Monday through Thursday at 5 pm and 6pm will now be held at 5:30 and 6:30 pm. So just a slight change in the Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening classes with Tatiana. We'd like to support her need to balance her day job and her barn life:) This is hard to change on the sign up at this time so just know that your class will start a half hour later than on the schedule. We are happy to create a...

Summer Camp - Opening June 1

Summer Camp - Opening June 1

It's time to talk about camp. We're certain camp will be taking place beginning on June 1st. We're also sure that the guidelines will not allow all the owners and leasees to attend camp as volunteer junior counselors. This year I will need to restrict numbers to ensure we have a safe environment that follows the restrictions that will be announced next week. As of today, I'm planning to operate the camp with paid staff. I have secured my adult staff and will now be reaching out to the teenage riders who've shown an interest in being staff this year....

May Update

I'm so excited by Governor Abbotts updates today that allow us to return to lessons. We will be revising our current sign up system to initiate our next expansion of services. We will be moving toward the compliance of the state's phase 1 reopening and hold our business to 25% for the upcoming 2 weeks. We will encourage and monitor social distancing and continue to sanitize the shared equipment. It has been my honor to be open and to have the opportunity to interact with everyone during this past 6 weeks. Now it's time to offer instruction. Starting Wednesday we...
