I'm needing to share that the covered arena is delayed by 2-3 months. The reason is that we will kindly delay our construction to expedite permitting for the expansion of the house on our property. So we will continue through August with plans for lessons as usual. That means we will save our scheduled closing for the dates of the arena construction and that will be determined in the very near future. Moving forward....
Lessons will continue as is until the start of school which seems to be near August 17th for most districts. We will continue the early ride times for the enjoyment of the cool mornings until August 15th. During this time before, I will be ready to make any lesson decisions that assist families with the planning of our lessons to align with anything that works for this unusual fall return to school. I envision some families will like to use daytime lessons for an opportunity that goes with the asynchronized form of virtual learning. Keep reaching out to me as to what you think might be a way to enhance the fall programming that you are entering. For me, flexibility is key as we navigate this school situation.
I'm ready to structure our after school and Saturday schedules to return to our committed fall plan. As soon as you know, please confirm what lessons you're able to attend starting August 17th. Reach out to your instructor and create what will continue through the school year, knowing that some things may have to change while we navigate 2020. I'm 100 % behind a concept that will keep our doors open and be flexible to weather this storm!
If you wish to do after school with Kathy I will be keeping to this schedule starting Monday August 17th
Monday 3:30, 4:30, 5:30, & 6:30
Tuesday 3:30, 4:30, 5:30, 6:30 & 7:30
Wednesday 3:30, & 4:30
Thursday 3:30, 4:30, 5:30, 6:30 & 7:30
Saturdays will continue with Kathy being the instructor most of the dates, and another instructor filling in when needed.
There will be many opportunities for daytime lessons with Kathy and Brigid throughout the week.
Many of our students will fit in this year just as we have in the past. Please send me a quick text that confirms you are moving back to your regular after school schedule. I'm sure we will have a chance to discuss any changes you need to make, while we see each other at the barn, and I will be carrying my calendar with me to confirm all students before August 17th.
During August, all lessons will be based on a monthly tuition and make ups will be offered on Saturday at noon and Sunday at 1pm. We receive many requests to modify the monthly tuition due to vacations etc. Our policy is that students must make up during the scheduled make up times or have made a mutual reschedule with their instructor. There is no refund for missed lessons. I will email all of our policies again, related to weather etc. this week.
