Barn Open Now

Good News!
Jose is feeling 100 % better after just a short morning of GI symptoms. He has no signs of further illness. I am confident we are doing a good job of bio security and may open back up for the scheduled barn visits tomorrow.
I will be at the barn today to ensure all surfaces are disinfected to create a fresh start with the Wednesday sign ups to start at 8 am.
A few reminders:
We are here to care for our horses.
Children under the age of 10 must have an adult from their family circle to assist with being independent.
We must follow all the social distancing rules.
I ask that we use an 8 ft physical distance from each other.
Do not touch any surfaces unless necessary. If a door is open, leave it open. If the lights are on leave them on.
All shared items go in the bleach bucket in the sanitizing cross tie area. This includes halters and lead ropes, all brushes and hoof picks, girths, saddle pads and yes, even bridles. If you use a barn saddle leave it in your wash rack area as I will disinfect it.
Wash your hands when you arrive and before you leave. Do not touch your face. (this is the hard one)
If you have any symptoms that you question, you must stay home.
As always if you have any questions or concerns please reach out to me.512-632-7433 I know our community changes on a day to day basis. Trust that I'm keeping close tabs on the guidelines for the care of our animals.
I really appreciate every effort being made to keep our community safe as I provide our barn families with time to engage with their horses.
Thank you,
Kathy
