These are are the details for the upcoming horse show in San Antonio.
Please load any personal equipment, saddles, bridles etc in the 7 horse trailer before Friday at 10 am. Pull your tack boxes to the center of the tack room for easy identification as we will load them for you. Please try to use the smaller size tack boxes and minimize your needs to the most essential items. Best to be done on Thursday.
Horses will leave Friday at 10 am to arrive and be settled in at noon. Some people have offered to come early to help on Friday, and that is always fine and appreciated.
BCRC will have bathing supplies, water buckets, tack cleaning, stall cleaning supplies etc.
Of course you may bring your own bathing, tack cleaning etc we are just trying to lighten the tack boxes.
Be sure to bring a check or cash to leave with the office and settle your bill at the end of the show. BCRC will bill separately for the expenses related to hauling, clipping, and training. You'll receive an electronic bill after the show.
Horses will be clipped before Friday, if you plan to clip your own horse, please text Kathy to remove them from the list.
Plan to look forward to a fun weekend of competition and camaraderie! I've heard some talk of pots of chile etc. Let's plan a Saturday night pot luck, I'll provide the tableware and a main dish. Bring a folding chair if you want.
Remember!!! Horse shows are known to drag on and seem to be hard to predict the schedule. Have a good book and dress warm in layers. Everything is inside and the barn can go from really cold in the morning to warm and muggy by afternoon. Temps are forecasted to be between 50 and 60 degrees.
The following list are the horses that have entries submitted at this time. Please update me on any changes that may need to be made. You may add or scratch if necessary.

We have scheduled our next A shows to be week 2 and 3 of Pin Oak. The dates start with Week 2 March 28 and 29. Then Week 3 is April 4 and 5. Please reserve a spot with Kathy ASAP as stalls will fill fast at these shows.
I Can't wait to take our team on the Road!!!!
On another note:). A family came to me to say that their daughter had to dismount and cut her ride short as a result of loud running and disruptive activity last weekend while I was not there. I know when I'm there, I've had to ask young people to keep the standard barn rules in order. In a horse environment we should use the guidelines of NO running, No loud voices, and No throwing of any objects. On a positive note....I LOVE seeing the young people having fun at the barn, but.... let's keep all the excitable activity in the space provided near the sand play area in the parking lot.
CHECK OUT THE NEW LOOK OF THE WEBSITE! GO NAVIGATE TO FIND MANY UPDATED ELECTRONIC FORMS ETC. BUY SOME SWAG!! SIGN UP FOR HORSE SHOWS AND MORE TO COME. THANK YOU TO THE HARDWORKING FAMILIES WHO HAVE HELPED ON THIS ENDEAVOR!!!
See you at the barn! Yes even today:). Bundle up and stay warm. This might just be our last blast of cold!
Thank you to all!
